Hi friends!!

The countdown to my birthday continues... and all I want is for the Skins to beat the Eagles Monday night!!!!!!! That's right, my birthday is the 26th! :0) Guess how old I'm turning?

For some reason, I'm not really feeling my birthday this year. Not sure why. Usually, I plan something or round up the troops for a get together but I feel like laying low this year. I celebrate my life everyday!! LoLoL! I think my 18th birthday was the most exciting because I knew it meant I would officially be an adult AND I could date without my parents hovering over me like a helicopter! I didn't really look forward to turning 21 like most people because I'm not a drinker. Really...I'm not. I heard turning 30 is pretty exciting tho but...WHY?? A lot of women tell me turning 30 is life-changing. Hmmm. Ok...can't wait. Uh...yea actually I can wait.

So tomorrow I'm going to a wedding with my sister. I'm sure I'll cry... definitely once the music comes on. Like I said before, I listen and get lost in the lyrics. I love music. Don't you guys think it's sooo powerful and therapeutic? It's interesting how certain songs will trigger vivid memories. For example, "whoop there it is" (remember that one?!!) makes me think about those 6th/7th grade dances with my bff at the time!! LoLoLoL. We thought we were sooo cool with our flowerly tops and outrageous bangs!! Vanilla Ice's "ice ice baby" makes me think of the time my friends and I choreographed a dance because we wanted to enter MTV's "Lip Service"-- wowowowow. Sound the nerd alert!!

SO back to this wedding... eh-hem... the ceremony will be a tear-jerker I'm sure but the reception will be nothing but laughs and good times!! Wedding receptions mean one thing... those goofy dances to get everyone feeling funky!! My fav?? The Cupid Shuffle!!!

For those of you who live under a rock and are unaware of the cupid shuffle... watch Elmo get down:

Hope you guys have an awesome weekend!!!!

HUGS!!!
